Following His Father Into the Law
Chris Doskocil grew up watching his father practice law and run his own firm, and that example shaped his own path early on. He wanted the same independence his father had, the ability to guide his own cases and build real relationships with the people he represented.
That goal led him to earn a degree in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University before completing his law degree at Washburn University School of Law. While in law school, he took part in one of the first law school clinical programs in the country, getting hands-on courtroom experience before he ever held a bar card.
After graduating in 1986, Chris spent three years at a larger firm learning the trade from the ground up. Then he did what he always planned to do: he joined his father's practice. Today, that same firm, now Doskocil Law Firm, serves clients from offices in Fenton and St. Louis. For over six decades, that firm has built a reputation for direct, personal legal counsel to families and business owners across the St. Louis area.
